Norms Lose - AGAIN

The Norms started off like gangbusters, scoring 3 times in the first inning. The bats went silent after that, however and the Norms dropped their 3rd consecutive game by a score of 8-5 to Coopers Bar. Coopers got 5 in the 3rd inning and 3 in the 4th to take an 8-3 lead. Six of Coopers runs came with 2 outs. The Norms scraped 2 runs together in the 6th but were unable to get any closer. "The d was solid, but the bats need to wake up" a visibly frustrated coach Wright murmured after the game. The Norms were led by SS rookie phenom Craig Parrucci, P Eric Harre and 1B Jeff Johnson with 2 hits each. The Norms have a doubleheader next week at Lexington Diffley fields and hope to get off the schnide.
